Life-size props
From life-size display props to original sculptures and custom designs, Wicked Good Props brings ideas to life with 3D printing, painting, and hand finishing. Matt works with clients in Windermere, Orlando, and surrounding Central Florida communities near Disney and Universal.
Have a concept, reference photo, or print-ready model? Share the size, finish, and purpose of your project for a custom quote. Wicked Good Props is an independent art studio, not affiliated with Disney or Universal.
Every piece that leaves the Wicked Good Props workshop starts as a conversation. Some clients arrive with a finished 3D model ready to print. Others bring a reference photo, a sketch on a napkin, or just a character they love and a spot on the shelf where it belongs. Either way, the job is the same: figure out the right size and material, print it, and then put in the hours of sanding, priming and painting that turn a printed part into something that looks like it walked off a film set.
Printing from your idea, reference or model file, in the size and material that suits the piece.
Full-scale busts, armor and display props printed in sections and finished as one seamless piece.
Character heads, figurines and original sculptures with expressive texture and detail.
Turning a concept, sketch or photo into a one-of-a-kind printable design.
Filling, sanding, priming, base coats, hand-painted detail, weathering and sealing.
Bigger jobs spread across a local team of freelance printers for faster turnaround.
A raw 3D print is only the beginning. Layer lines, seams and support marks all have to go before a single drop of colour goes on. Big pieces like the life-size Deadpool and Spider-Man busts are printed in sections, glued, filled and sanded until the joins vanish. Then come base coats, shading, weathering, gloss and matte, and the small details like eyes, teeth, straps and buckles, all done by hand, one layer at a time. That is the difference between a printed object and a prop that reads as the real character from across the room.
Bigger jobs are no problem either. Wicked Good Props works with a growing team of local freelance printers, painters and artists, so a large order can be spread across many machines and finished quickly without cutting corners on the details.
The studio is based around Windermere, a short drive from Dr. Phillips, Winter Garden and the Orlando theme park area, and works with clients from Kissimmee and Clermont out to Tampa and Lakeland. Local pickup can be arranged, and you can talk through your project by phone or text before anything gets printed.
